Essentially, Village Green Kitchens design and install a limited amount of kitchens per year,
very well.
By doing so, we ensure that when it is your turn, you have our full attention and we are not distracted by other kitchens that are running concurrently
The Design
We start by visiting your home to get the look and feel, see how light affects the space and to have an initial discussion about ideas.
We take our own measurements (or work off a plan if it is a new room) and then draw an initial design in plan view, having paid careful attention to your Wish List.
We will then price this initial design and give provisional cost sums for parts of the design that are not yet confirmed.
There is no limit to the number of revisions that we do, until we get it right.
Elevation Drawings
The next stage is to translate the Plan View into Elevation Drawings.
We then finalise the exact details of each cabinet, door design, internal drawers, spice racks, trays and shelves where applicable.
At this point, you really do get the opportunity to completely personalise the design and tailor it to your exact requirements.

All of the appliances in our shop are fully working models, so we can demonstrate features and talk you through the latest developments.
Choosing the work surface is an important decision, as the right choice can really set off the cabinetry. We offer good quality quartz or granite in a virtually unlimited range of colours and textures and can get samples to help you make a decision.
We have a really good Stonemason, whom we have known for almost twenty years and we fuss over the details such as joint position, window/sink finishes and overall texture.

Lighting Design
As part of our comprehensive design service, we also design lighting schemes for the rooms that we furnish.
There is no charge for the design work and we also meet electricians on site to run through the installation requirements.
